After you've been using PostgreSQL for a while, you realize that there are some things still missing that would make using it in large, production environments easier: automated partitioning, autonomous functions, logical replication & better dump filtering. Thankfully, it's extremely easy to make add-ons to allow some of those features right now. And you don't even have to know a single line of C code! This talk will discuss several projects I've been working on to help fill those gaps and hopefully show how easy it is to get involved in the PostgreSQL community.
