Developers love open source databases because they help enable innovation, collaboration, and the creation of technologies that solve today’s and tomorrow’s problems. As we at AWS have ramped up our collaboration with open source communities, like PostgreSQL, we have seen how open source innovations improve the experience of our customers and the broader community. This keynote highlights how AWS has been collaborating with the PostgreSQL community and talks through recent contributions. It also briefly touches on recent innovations across Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL-Compatible Edition and Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, including enhancements in generative AI, scaling, performance, upgrades, and more.
