Andy Pavlo is an Associate Professor of Databaseology in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. He is also the co-founder of OtterTune (https://ottertune.com). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brown University under Stan Zdonik and Mike Stonebraker.
