Kaushik Iska is a database systems expert and open-source contributor, specializing in PostgreSQL replication, distributed systems, and real-time data movement. He is the Co-founder and former CTO of PeerDB, a high-performance PostgreSQL replication system, which was acquired by ClickHouse. At ClickHouse, he leads database integrations, focusing on seamless real-time data replication from PostgreSQL to modern analytical platforms.

Kaushik has deep expertise in logical replication, Change Data Capture (CDC), and performance optimizations for large-scale data systems. He has contributed to open-source projects like PeerDB, ClickHouse, and Flutter, and has worked on high-impact distributed computing projects at Google and SafeGraph.
