Postgres-BDR is a worlwide multi-master replication clustering solution allowing you to write to any node in the cluster. Build high availability and geographical distributed databases meeting disaster recovery needs and allowing rolling upgrades. We will present recent test results comparing where we are with 9.6devel to the 9.5 branch. Additionally, there will also be data to illustrate the gaps that Postgres may attempt to close between other open source column store database solutions.
This presentation will take a look at the performance changes in the development version of PostgreSQL. A selection of features, some proposed and some already committed, are evaluated using synthetic open source workloads.
